Friend,

On March 26, the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Maryland collapsed, tragically
killing six immigrant workers who had been repairing potholes during a
nightshift.

Alejandro Hernandez FuentesOur hearts are with their loved ones, our close partner, CASA de Maryland — who
lost two beloved members in Miguel and Maynor — and the city of Baltimore.

This tragedy is a stark reminder of the dangers immigrant and essential workers
regularly face on the job. It also underscores the absolute urgency of our
collective fight to advance all workers' rights and ensure that our systems
prioritize human dignity over labor.

Right now, the families of the victims and the survivors of the bridge collapse
are in need of our support.

We urge you to contribute to the Key Bridge Community Fund. Your donation will
go directly to the families affected by this disaster .
