In early March, Starbucks workers from over 400 unionized stores heard that Starbucks was FINALLY willing to come to the table, hear baristas out, and agree on how to improve their jobs.
We won that day, but it was only the first of many wins we are positive will come our way. Next week, we officially head into our first bargaining session with Starbucks since they agreed to join us at the table. We’ll demand a strong, foundational framework to set the stage for bargaining and contracts for Starbucks stores across the country.

As workers, we have been encouraged and motivated by the swell of fellow working people, other unions, and elected leaders who fight alongside us and have demonstrated inspiring solidarity over the last two years.
We are strong and committed to changing the fate of working people, not just at Starbucks, but across industries. Since we won in early March, thousands of workers have continued to demand better, walk out, go on strike, and win contracts with their co-workers that will ensure better pay and better futures for them and their families.
We know what our fight means to this movement and we aren’t going to forget as we take things to the next level. We know if we win big, we set the standard for what others can win too.
