This is horrifying. We need doctors and scientists, not Jared Kushner.
Donald Trump has put his thoroughly unqualified son-in-law, Jared Kushner, in charge of responding to coronavirus.
The New York Times reports that Kushner told Trump that coronavirus was a media exaggeration. And this week, he declared that the national ventilator stockpile was not meant for states to use.
Trump ignored epidemiologists who begged him to increase coronavirus testing. He sidelined doctors and scientists as he put Mike Pence and Jared Kushner in charge.
This anti-science administration has endangered us all.
We need to elect more scientists like Dr. Arati Kreibich to Congress. And we need to put qualified scientists and doctors in charge of saving lives.
