Hi John,
Wow, what a whirlwind April has been. We kicked it off with our assemblies and conventions and were thrilled by the turnout and excitement across our state. Nearly 2,000 delegates chose our statewide and Congressional District Democratic candidates for the primary ballot and unified around our common desire to win on the issues that matter most.
Below are some of the results:
Congressional District 1
US House: Rep. Diana DeGette
Congressional District 2
US House: Rep. Joe Neguse
State Board of Education: Kathy Gebhardt
Congressional District 3
US House: Adam Frisch
State Board of Education: Ellen Angeles
CU Regent: Robert Logan
Congressional District 4
US House: Trisha Calvarese, John Padora
State Board of Education: Krista Holtzmann
Congressional District 5
US House: River Gassen, Joe Reagan
CU Regent: Axel Brown
Congressional District 6
US House: Rep. Jason Crow
Congressional District 7
US House: Rep. Brittany Pettersen
Congressional District 8
US House: Rep. Yadira Caraveo
State Board of Education: Director Rhonda Solis
“This phenomenal group of leaders are a winning ticket for Colorado, and we’re delighted to be hitting the ground running with fantastic candidates focused on creating jobs, protecting our freedoms, and bringing the voice of their communities to government – not playing politics with our lives,” said our chair Shad Murib regarding the results.

In addition to the forty-seven candidates elected to represent their Congressional District at the Democratic National Convention, we elected 16 at-large delegates, 9 party leader & elected official delegates, and four new DNC Members!
From our local precinct caucuses to the county, state, and congressional conventions and assemblies, this was our democracy in action. So many Coloradans chose to step up and get involved in our democratic process by helping choose who would be on the ballot.
Thank you to everyone who participated in this process. Now it’s time for us to get out there and WIN! Help us do that by chipping in whatever you can today >> [[link removed]]
