Recent reports from our Department of Education show that acts of crime and violence are up over 85% from just five years ago. There were a reported 1500 assaults on teachers last year.
No wonder why good teachers are leaving the profession at such a rapid rate. No one should have to feel fearful while at work.
My opponent funded groups that are working to remove discipline in our schools and to defund school officers. If he wins this election, no teacher or child will be safe from violence while at school.
