Our grassroots activists are the backbone of our movement. They do the hard work sharing our message and putting the pressure on our lawmakers to get things done.
I spent much of my career in grassroots activism, and I’ve seen firsthand the power and influence that engaged citizens have on Congress and in Washington.
In 2010 I started as the first field hire for Heritage Action based out of North Carolina. I went on to become grassroots director and grew our initial 200 activists into a nationwide network of over 20,000. Fellow Conservative, I know a good grassroots initiative when I see one and our 2020 plan at Heritage Action is an amazing opportunity for the conservative movement.

Fellow Conservative, we’ve reached out a few times before about our big 2020 plans. But I’ll remind you of our important mission:
- Build a grassroots army of committed CONSERVATIVE leaders.
- Win the policy fight on the Economy, Immigration, and Workforce Development - issues that will help Americans return to work, and get our economy moving again.
And we’re doing this all while social distancing. We’re an agile organization, and we’ve shifted from knocking doors to making calls - reaching out to people while they’re at home, and engaging with them in meaningful conversations on these issues, one voter at a time.
We’re ACTIVATING our conservative activists all over the country and we’re making a difference already. And in light of the coronavirus and the economic recovery ahead, our activists have never been more needed.
