Earth Day is coming up and of course, how could I not send you an email about it? After all, climate is one of the biggest reasons why I came to the Senate in the first place.
That’s why I’m still so moved when I think about all of the hard work that went into passing the Inflation Reduction Act and getting it to President Biden’s desk. It's the biggest climate bill in our country’s history, and thanks to its investments, the clean-energy transformation is happening in real-time. Check it out:

We’re making the transition to renewable energy and creating good-paying green jobs while doing it. The IRA proves that big, bold climate action is not just possible -- it’s good for everyone.
Is the IRA alone going to solve climate change? Of course not. Climate change is the challenge of our generation, and we must continue our work and build on the IRA’s successes.
We need to keep raising our voices and demanding climate action. We need to keep winning elections and sending leaders who will fight for climate action and justice to every level of government. We need to defend our Senate majority, win the House, and re-elect President Biden this November.
So over the next few days while you take time to celebrate Earth Day and appreciate our environment, please also consider making a contribution to our organization and supporting our efforts to elect more climate champions across the country this year.
