Labour’s organising team here. We’re out knocking on doors all across Britain this week (postal votes are landing!), but we wanted to reach out quickly while we’re between doors with an important request.

Rain or shine, morning, afternoon or evening, weekday or weekend - our team is out and about, talking to people about Labour's plans to deliver for working families.

And the truth is, our candidates and organisers need more resources to ensure we reach every voter that we need to speak to before polling day.

These local contests almost always come down to turnout, and what happens in May is going to be viewed as the last major test of Labour’s campaign operation before a general election.

So we have to win as many council seats and mayoralties as possible. With polling day just two weeks away and the first votes already being cast by post, we urgently need to print more leaflets and launch new ads.

Will you make a donation to Labour’s Local Election Fund right now? Every £3 helps us reach 3 more voters, so anything you can give will be immediately invested to help us turn out more Labour supporters.
