Robert Burns is a small businessman and lifelong resident of New Hampshire. Burns was born in Nashua, graduated from Manchester West High School, and is a graduate of Keene State College with a degree in Business Management. Currently, Burns owns and operates a growing quality control and safety company in Bedford.
Burns was first elected to serve as a Selectman in Manchester’s Ward 12, where he helped oversee the integrity of the city’s elections. Burns was then elected Hillsborough County Treasurer, defeating then-incumbent Chris Pappas. Burns won the Republican nomination for Executive Council in District 4 in 2012, and 2014
In 2015, he joined Donald Trump’s campaign for President, serving as the National Youth Coalition Chairman and was a Delegate for Trump at the 2016 Republican National Convention. Over the last two decades Burns has worked on a number of campaigns, including for the Presidential races of Mike Huckabee and Newt Gingrich.
Burns won the Republican nomination for New Hampshire’s Second Congressional District in 2022.
