John, a leaked strategy document from the Arizona Republican Party proves what we've been saying all along: Republicans know their stance on abortion is out of step with a large majority of Americans, and now with Election Day approaching, they're putting together a plan to thwart abortion rights — all while misleading voters.
We've been running our Set the Record Straight Flash Fund for the last two days to call out Republicans backpedaling on their abortion records. But we had to let you know about this leaked document, so we're extending our fund for one more day.
Donate right now to help elect Democratic pro-choice women who will call out lying Republicans and set the record straight:

When abortion is on the ballot, abortion wins. Republicans know that — and they're scared, which is why in Arizona, they're putting together a plan to target the Arizona for Abortion Access (AAA) initiative, a ballot measure that would protect abortion rights statewide.
That plan? They laid it all out on paper: it involves proposing additional ballot measures that they describe as "complimentary (not conflicting)" to the AAA, despite the fact that these GOP measures aim to restrict abortion access. They've also advised lawmakers to choose misleading titles for these measures like "Protecting Pregnant Women and Safe Abortions Act" and the "Arizona Abortion Protection Act."
They even admit the goal is deception, writing: "In reality, a 14-week law [would be] disguised as a 15-week law because it would only allow abortion until the beginning of the 15th week."
The proposals outlined in the document are part of a blatant PR campaign to change the narrative. In fact, one part of the plan literally reads: "Changes narrative — Republicans have a plan!" Republicans are trying to mislead voters about their anti-abortion stance in order to get what they want at the ballot box, and we're not letting them get away with it.
Will you donate right now to help EMILYs List women call out lying Republicans and show voters that this is just another attempt to control reproductive freedom?
