Congressional candidate Marty O’Donnell joins leftist extremists in supporting biological men competing in women’s sports
In exclusive leaked audio, O’Donnell, a GOP congressional candidate for NV-3 states he will, “probably do nothing” in Congress to protect female athletes.
(Las Vegas, NV) – In a recent appearance at a UNLV College Republicans club meeting, Marty O’Donnell, a Republican congressional candidate in Nevada’s 3rd district, indicated support for the NCAA's outrageous policies that allow men to compete in women’s sports.
When asked what he would do to push back on woke ideologies that institutions such as the NCAA are implementing, including those that allow biological males to compete against women, take scholarships from females, and share locker rooms with girls, O’Donnell replied, “probably nothing.”
The question was asked after a conversation regarding the recent rule change by the NAIA that banned transgender women—or female gender-identifying individuals who were assigned male sex at birth—from competing in its collegiate women's sports.
O’Donnell recently entered the Republican primary for Nevada's 3rd congressional district against leading candidate Drew Johnson, a conservative columnist, leading government watchdog, free market policy analyst, and small business owner. Johnson has been endorsed by Riley Gaines, a renowned activist for female sports.
“We need more bold, conservative leaders in Congress who aren't afraid to fight the far-left's attempts to hijack women's sports and undo the accomplishments of females in athletics. Drew Johnson has made it very clear that he'll fight the woke mob and be a leader in protecting the interests of female athletes everywhere. I stand with Drew because he stands with us.” – Riley Gaines
“Recent court decisions show that further federal legislation is needed to keep men out of women’s sports. I will support legislation to define, for federal law purposes, a woman as being a human being without a Y chromosome.
I will fight the far-left's attempts to hijack women's sports and undo the accomplishments of females in athletics. I will stand up to the Department of Education’s attempt to change Title IX and stand with the women who have fought for decades to achieve fairness in sports.” – Drew Johnson
Johnson's campaign is managed by Linnea Saltz, a NCAA DI conference champion runner who became a leading advocate for the rights of women and girls to compete in sports fairly and safely after being forced to race against a biological male athlete. Gaines recently recognized Saltz as a pioneer in the fight to protect women's sports.
