Hey humans,
We're reaching out to share some exciting news: the Kickstarter launch for the second edition of Good Dog, Bad Zombie is just around the corner! After much anticipation and hard work, we're excited to bring this paw-some project to life, and we can’t do it without supporters like you.
🐕 The Big Date: Our Kickstarter campaign for Good Dog, Bad Zombie will kick off on May 14th.
🐶 Spread the Woof: Your enthusiasm and support means the world to us, and we'd be grateful if you could help us spread the word. Do you have friends or family who share your passion for board games and/or dogs? Encourage them to get notified when the Kickstarter launches by clicking “Notify me on launch” on this page.
🦴 Here’s what to expect from the second edition of Good, Dog Zombie:
Upgraded Components: From unique zombie meeples to larger cards, a thicker board, and more - we’re upgrading almost every component of the first edition of the game.
Play as Your Own Dog: At certain backer levels and above, you will be able to play as your own dog! You’ll upload a picture and fill out a form, and then we’ll design, print, and send you customized character cards and tokens.
New Playable Dogs: In addition to all of the above, we’ll be adding at least four new dogs with brand new powers to the game. We also have some stretch goals planned that would allow us to add additional dogs.
Fresh Art: We’ll be introducing new art to many parts of Good Dog, Bad Zombie. This art will give it a fresh look while paying homage to the original design. We’ll even have a backer level where you can have your dog illustrated into the base game!
New Expansion: We’re delighted to introduce the “Puppy Pack,” the first new expansion to Good Dog, Bad Zombie since its original release!
Benefiting Real Life Dogs: We are once again teaming up with the amazing humans at One Tail At a Time (OTAT), an incredible pet rescue and shelter. Certain backer levels will allow us to purchase items off OTAT’s wishlist and then hand deliver them. We were so happy with how much we were able to contribute to OTAT during the game’s first Kickstarter, and we’re delighted to do it again.
🧟 What you can do in the meantime: We will of course update you here when the campaign goes live. You can also feel free to sign up on the Kickstarter page for a notification. But also – if you’ve played or have the first edition and are excited for the 2nd edition, we’d love it if you sent us a quote about why you’re excited for the 2nd edition. We’ll include some of these quotes on the campaign page!
