We Fought Big Tobacco and WON!

In 1990, Congress passed groundbreaking legislation led by the Lung Association that prohibited smoking on virtually all domestic passenger airline flights. Overnight, 99% of all flights in the United States became smokefree.

Over the next decade, the smokefree skies law was expanded to include ALL flights. This was a huge win!

We Must Work Together

Right now, we're urging the Biden Administration to finalize rules to end the sale of menthol cigarettes and flavored cigars. If approved, these new rules would save countless lives and put us closer to ending lung cancer.
