It’s just been revealed that U.S. institutions and development banks are still putting billions of public funds into fossil fuels abroad.1
They should fund, clean, safe and affordable renewable energy with that money instead.

The U.S.-controlled World Bank puts $1.2 billion a year into coal, oil, and gas. As of last month, the U.S. Export-Import Bank (EXIM) has already approved $500 million for an oil and gas project in Bahrain. And is likely to approve billions for gas in Papua New Guinea and fossil fuel projects in Guyana.3

U.S. officials from government and big institutions are heading to critical international finance meetings this week.
How and what to spend money on is the agenda. Now is the perfect time to ask President Biden to add pressure. Will you take action now?
We have the tools and resources we need to give everyone safe, clean, healthy energy without fossil fuels. We just need the money to switch to renewables.
By joining together with people from all walks of life, we can hold our leaders accountable and take the power away from CEOs of oil corporations.
