JOHN,
April 15^th is a painful reminder of how much of your hard-earned money goes to the government.
Would you like to keep more of YOUR money? Would you like more of a say on how the government spends YOUR money?
Well, the good news is that by electing the right U.S. Congressman, you can do both.

In February of 2024, I re-signed the Americans for Tax Reform Taxpayer Protection Pledge with founder and President of the group, Grover Norquest, as my witness.
By signing the Pledge, I am vowing to vote against any and all taxes or fee increases. During my 12 years as a Maryland State Delegate, I stayed true to this promise that I first signed in 2010. I am committed to keeping my word and to helping you keep more of your hard-earned money.
I not only voted against all tax or fee increases, I also actively worked to reduce spending in Maryland. I voted against all budgets that were not balanced or that borrowed inordinate amounts of money that Marylanders would have to pay later, through future tax increases. From Day One as your U.S. Congressman, I will be working for our common-sense, conservative values - Values like lower taxes and less spending.
I also work to for simple, common-sense actions. In 2002, I fought against removing the 10 Commandments Monument from a Veteran’s War Memorial in Frederick. In 2011, I fought against subsidizing in-state college tuition for illegal aliens. In 2020, I fought against an unfair, Democrat-gerrymandered Congressional map and WON, making Maryland's sixth district competitive again.
Fighting for what is right and solving big problems: that’s who I am. You can be confident that I will be fighting for you and with you, right from the very start of my term. It’s what I’ve always done.

Now for the great news. I filed to run to represent you in the U.S. Congress on February 12, 2024, and in just a month and a half, we raised over $140,000.
I am humbled to see that we have the most “cash on hand” of any Republican candidate running in the primaries, and we are excited about this month ahead. We will be meeting with voters, hearing your thoughts, and working with you to bring common-sense back to Congress!
I would love to talk with you. If you are free this Thursday, April 18, 2024, please stop by the Old Cider Press in Smithsburg, MD, between 6 and 8:30PM. Please do not let money be an issue! Respond to this email, or simply drop by.
Want to make a difference? Want to volunteer? Just want to chat? Come on out Thursday night. We’ll be talking practical strategies for winning this seat, and I think you’ll want to be there. If you can’t come, let us know that you’d like to get involved. Email us at
[email protected] and we’ll get back to you right away. Everyone can do something!
I hope that your Tax Day wasn’t too tough, but if it was, let it spur you on to action! Let’s get in there and win this seat so we can close the border, stop inflation, and make sure that next year’s Tax Day isn’t as painful. We can do this – I know we can.
I hope to see you Thursday at the Old Cider Press in Smithsburg.
For our country,
Neil
