Dear VCC Community,

A question that has occupied me through out this entire four years of COVID propaganda is why do some of us see the fraud, deception and malfeasance, and others do not. More importantly, why do some act to challenge the violations of rights and freedoms and egregious overreach by our governments, media and courts while most acquiesce and comply, no matter how irrational the measures and mandates imposed upon us.

I had the opportunity to ask Jason Christoff this question last week. Jason, from my perspective, is Canada’s leading expert on mind control and the massive manipulations we are subjected to by our governments, public health, and media. Jason’s answer resonated deeply with me. He said he believes that those of us who have seen the tyranny and stood up to oppose it no matter the consequences, have previously gone through a “dark night of the soul”. 

Jason is of the perspective that those of us who have the commitment and courage to oppose tyranny have previously experienced a significant life event that challenged our view of reality; that we’ve already been forced to question our basic assumptions about life and the human experience. He suggests that we who have the moral integrity to oppose this existential threat that we are facing are on “The Hero's Journey”.

Jason is referring to Joseph Campbell’s metaphoric journey from innocence to transformation. The hero is one who chooses to sacrifice himself to put his companions out of harms way. The hero is selfless and unwavering in his commitment to the truth and a high moral standard.

I suggest Jason has assessed the situation correctly. What I witness in my fellow freedom warriors is an unwavering commitment, selflessness and high moral standard such that they are willing to sacrifice the safety of compliance for the goal of what is right and true and moral.

One final tool for your consideration is the reminder to breathe using your diaphragm. Those involved in martial arts, yoga, singing, weightlifting, pilates and other similar practices already know the significance of breathing from your diaphragm. If you are not familiar with these disciplines you might wonder why is it so important to breathe from your diaphragm. 

Changing the way you breathe transforms you from a sponge to a duck. I notice that when a person breathes using the top of their lungs their life resembles that of a sponge. They absorb the struggles and challenges of life. Over time they become so saturated with life that they become heavy and have difficulty moving forward. I believe many people who experience depression do so in part because of the way they breathe.

When a person breathes using their diaphragm, the struggles and challenges of life tend to roll off his or her back. As a result they stay light and buoyant and float through life like a duck. Whenever I feel heavy with life I remind myself to breathe from my diaphragm, to become like a duck.

An easy way to notice if you are breathing from your diaphragm is to lie on your back, loosen your clothing, and place your hands on your lower belly. If you are breathing properly, your hands will rise and fall with each breath. If your hands stay in one position it is likely you’re breathing using your lungs only.
