John, earlier today, U.S. Senators questioned Postmaster General Louis DeJoy in a hearing about his DISASTROUS leadership of the USPS!
Ongoing financial losses and difficulties with delivery were just the tip of the iceberg, team. Lawmakers are now worried DeJoy’s failures could even disrupt mail-in balloting in November’s elections, along with other key functions the Postal Service performs every day.
Senator Jon Ossoff told DeJoy during the hearing: “The long run is too long. You've got weeks, not months to fix this. And if you don't fix it, 36% on-time delivery, I don't think you're fit for this job.”
We wholeheartedly agree, team. That’s why today we’ve put together an emergency petition to the USPS Board of Governors – the only people that have the power to hold DeJoy accountable – to DEMAND that he finally be FIRED.

Let’s take a look at how we got here:
FIRST: Former President Donald Trump handpicked Louis DeJoy to take charge of the USPS, and in 2020, DeJoy did everything he could to suppress vote-by-mail and give the election to Republicans, even if it meant WRECKING all mail delivery.
THEN: Despite widespread disapproval of his plans, AND an FBI investigation into his past crooked fundraising efforts, DeJoy began enacting his 10-year plan for the USPS by slowing mail delivery, closing hundreds of postal offices, and cutting more than 50,000 positions!
AND despite his promise that the USPS would break even in 2023, the institution LOST more than $6.5 billion AND expects to see a similar loss in 2024.
NOW: DeJoy’s leadership is running the USPS into the ground. The Postal Regulatory Chair flagged that the continued decline in service is “alarming” and said the USPS is moving in the “wrong direction!” and Senators are concerned his ongoing financial and operations failures could have dangerous ramifications for November’s elections.
That’s why we are reaching out to top grassroots supporters like you, team. We can’t let Louis DeJoy continue to destroy this vital institution that American families depend on!
