We are in the midst of a powerful turning - still
untangling ourselves from the wounds of the past while trying to
grow into who we are meant to be in the world. Many of us (myself
included) are feeling the power of this shift on a personal and
collective level. All of us - maiden, mothers, enchantresses,
crones - hold the power of transition - creativity and rebirth.
Honoring this cycle of creation - conception, gestation, birth
and release - and stepping into our power will determine what’s
next and what’s possible.

At almost 50 years in this body, I am finally learning to
honor and acknowledge this cycle and my place in it. The process
of birth and death and everything in between can take on so many
forms and we, women, are essential to the role of mid-wifing
ourselves and each other through these critical rites of
passage.
I designed WOMB ( [link removed] )for just
that. WOMB (May 10 - 12th, Joshua Tree) is a ritual and retreat
for women who are ready to step into their power and place in the
world. Through dynamic movement, embodied ritual, radical inquiry
and mutual support, we will explore questions like:
* What needs to be healed/recovered so that we can step into our
power?
* How do we let go (and let die) the old stories and systems that
are keeping us stuck and suffering?
* How do we compost shame and insecurity into power and purpose?
* What is is the medicine that each of us can bring to this
process of transition?
* How do we prepare ourselves to bring forth the future we are
yearning for?
* How do we love ourselves into who we want to be?

The womb is the cauldron of our collective's intuitive wisdom.
The medicine of the womb is intuitive, and cyclical dancing
through creation, birth, and death in a current that is
never-ending, forever flowing, flowering, blossoming, and
eventually decaying back into the earth and ethers. But so many
of us have become disconnected from our bodies and stuck in our
heads rationalizing, intellectualizing, strategizing and “being
busy.” By parking our bodies the spaces of “doing”, we have lost
touch with our own deeper, instinctual knowing.
Our journey will be held in a desert oasis, nourished by plant
based meals and guided by rituals of remembering and reclaiming
and supported in collective practice and solidarity. This is a
retreat of reclaiming ourselves and rediscovering our inherent
power as creatives, catalysts and change makers. It's honoring
our needs, knowing our boundaries, and taking care of ourselves
so that we can show up in ways that we know we are capable of.
