You may know me as the Governor of Georgia, but I’m also a father of three.
I’ve worn many hats throughout my lifetime, but being a father to my three girls has been my favorite.
As a dad and as the Governor of Georgia, I know how important a strong education system is — that’s why I will always fight tooth and nail to give every child the education they deserve.
Thanks to supporters like you, we made big strides this year:
→ We fully funded K-12 education.
→ We raised teacher pay for the fourth time since I took office.
→ We made the School Security Grant program permanent.
→ We provided new school buses and more literacy coaches again this year.
→ We secured a greater choice for students and parents in underperforming schools to decide how and where they want to receive their education.
I firmly believe Georgia must take an all-of-the above approach to education, and with your continued support, we will do just that.
