Friends,

If you look at any presidential battleground map over the last few decades, you can easily point to a small number of states that are always the ultimate deciders every four years.

And within those states, national campaigns often focus specifically on high-density areas.

But our work here at the NDRC won’t be successful unless we are mobilizing voters in our priority states on a state-wide basis. Here’s why:

Our 2024 electoral work is focused on state legislatures, state supreme courts, and ballot initiatives. In order to win these types of elections, where turnout is critical in urban, suburban, and rural regions alike, and candidates don’t start out with high name recognition, we need to organize and deploy resources to communicate with diverse voting blocs across different backgrounds and geographies.

Basically, we need to focus our efforts in places that may not be getting much attention otherwise. That’s why we’re asking you to make a grassroots donation to the NDRC today to fuel our important work: [[link removed]]

Even where our priority states overlap with presidential battlegrounds, a donation to the NDRC helps accomplish a distinct goal.

Don’t get us wrong, every campaign’s work to turn out our base is incredibly important to our shared mission. But it’s our job to fill in the gaps where it's more difficult — and more expensive — to make inroads.

This is the most consequential election our democracy has ever seen. We can’t afford to NOT have the resources to win these tough elections in our priority states that can be decided by a handful of votes.

Your donation to the NDRC today can help organize voter turnout efforts in critical areas that may not receive many resources otherwise. So you can be confident that your dollar is making a difference.

Please, donate now: [[link removed]]

Thank you,
Marina
