1. Mitch McConnell has named Jon Tester a top target. And he’s done more than talk: He hand picked Tim Sheehy to run against Jon. Tim dropped $1,000,000 from his own wallet to fund his campaign. Mitch McConnell’s super PACs have already invested nearly 65 times that amount to prop up Tim. Yes, that’s nearly $65,000,000 to defeat Jon.


2. Polls show Jon in a virtual tie, so we can’t rest on our laurels. The attacks are coming in fast, and there is a lot of time between now and Election Day. National Republicans are counting on their ability to twist Jon’s record and mislead Montana voters to move this race in their favor. Political experts are calling this race a toss-up, meaning it’s anyone’s to win or lose.


3. This race will determine the outcome of the Senate majority. The GOP needs to flip one more seat to win Senate control, and that would be an utter disaster. They’ll pass a national abortion ban. They’ll gut Medicare and Social Security. They’ll transfer off our public lands. They don’t care about Montana or our way of life.
