– 32% of election workers have felt unsafe because of their work.
– In North Carolina alone, 45 county election directors quit between 2019 and 2022 over the increasing dangers and stress of the job.
– 77% of election workers have felt increased threats in recent years.
– It’s so bad that more than ten election workers quit every week.
False claims that our elections are “rigged” or “stolen” aren't going away. In fact, we expect the rhetoric to ramp up as we get closer to November.
That’s why we’re working overtime to defeat anti-democracy Republicans, but we can’t do this alone.
