John—
Look, I don’t expect everyone to contribute each time we send one of these emails. But the truth is we’re a little bit behind on the fundraising targets we need to hit to win this election.
We have to catch up. Fast. But I’m about to say something that would make my finance director’s head spin—the amount you give doesn’t matter to me. Here’s why:
I’m proud to run this campaign the right way—with over 500,000 individual contributions from folks like you powering everything we do.
My opponent has the backing of shady billionaires and Mitch McConnell himself. Outside groups are flooding Montana with over $50,000,000 in TV ads to try and defeat me.
I won’t lie, that’s a lot of cash. And it’s concerning—especially if we don’t have the resources to fight back. But I’d bet on this grassroots team any day of the week.
$10 here and $25 there might not seem like a lot, John, but I promise it adds up. I wouldn’t be emailing you if your support didn’t make a difference.
So what do you think? Can you split a donation today (of any amount) between my campaign and Fight for Progress to help us catch up on our goals and build the kind of grassroots campaign that can take on dark money and win?

Thanks for everything. I mean it.
