John, Gov. Youngkin’s amendments to the state budget slash funding for K-12 public schools by nearly $200 million for our highest-need schools. It’s disheartening, and it’s the wrong play for ensuring a bright future in our communities.

We owe so much to our public schools. We entrust them with preparing our children for the challenges of tomorrow and instilling in them the values of respect, community, and dedication. That mission requires hard work from teachers and faculty who are passionate about education. Will you chip in $ to my campaign now to send a message to the governor that we demand he keep our schools funded? [[link removed]]

SUPPORT OUR PUBLIC SCHOOLS [[link removed]]

For me, supporting public education is personal. As a kid, school always meant more to me than just a place to learn. It represented an opportunity for a better life. It was a place where my mentors showed me that with the right support, I really could achieve anything I set my mind to .

We need to invest in every student, regardless of zip code. I don’t know where I would be if it weren't for our public schools, and I am committed to ensuring our children don’t just have the same opportunities I had – but to ensure they have more. That can only happen if we come together and make the right investments in public education.

Slashing funding for the schools that need it most doesn’t only set us back; it lets down the next generation who are counting on us.

If we stand together, we can create a commonwealth that makes our children proud. I am working to ensure our schools stay well-funded, and I need your help to get the word out. By contributing $ to my campaign, you’re helping send a message to the governor that will echo throughout the commonwealth— every student deserves an opportunity to succeed . Will you chip in $ now?
