John,
Who controls Congress and the White House in 2025 will come down to several key states―and whether folks turn out to vote for human needs and have their voices heard.
That’s why we’re partnering with our allies at Vote Forward and Vote Riders, writing to infrequent voters in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.
Each one of these states could go either way. And our goal is to write to 10 million voters during this election cycle!
We know that when people turn out and vote for human needs, our communities win. We’re dedicated to ensuring that civic participation flourishes and that every individual, regardless of background, has the opportunity to shape the future of our nation.
Donate today to power our voter engagement campaign and help ensure massive voter turnout in each of these make-or-break states.

Together, we’re helping ensure that everyone can make their voice heard in this critical election year. And it is your support that directly fuels the resources, essential webinars and trainings, letter writing parties, and nationwide volunteer recruitment that help to make that work possible.
Thank you for all that you do,

-- DEBORAH'S EMAIL --
John,
In 2023, 14 states enacted 17 voter suppression laws to make it much more difficult for vulnerable communities to register and to vote.1 These bills disproportionately impact communities of color, low-income communities, LGBTQ+ communities, and rural communities.
There is so much at stake this November and the presidential and congressional elections will have a huge impact on our ability to invest in human needs in 2025 and beyond—in education, housing, health care and many other critically needed programs, and whether the right to vote will be protected.
At the Coalition on Human Needs, our Voter Engagement Team is hard at work recruiting volunteers from all over the country to contact eligible voters in states such as Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin to make sure they’re able to have their voices heard at the ballot box.
We can’t afford to have a low-turnout presidential election. That’s why we’re starting early, reaching out to infrequent voters in critical states, educating folks about what’s at stake and encouraging them to make their voices heard.
Power our campaign to turn out infrequent voters with a contribution $5 or more and fight back against attempts to suppress the vote of communities of color, low-income communities, LGBTQ+ communities, and rural communities.

We’re gearing up for our largest voter engagement campaign yet. In 2024, we’re once again joining our partners at Vote Forward and Vote Riders to ensure that no eligible voter is left behind. Our program will include:
-
Two online letter writing parties a month with Vote Forward and Vote Riders
-
Continuous letter writing opportunities for those who can’t make our parties
-
Nonstop volunteer recruitment for ongoing text banking, phone banking, and letter writing opportunities
-
We will host one voter ID clinic per month
-
Each month up until Election Day, we will host voter engagement presentations for service providers
-
Utilize TikTok to reach and engage young voters
Your support today will help us ensure that every eligible voter will have the resources they need and the ability to make their voices heard at the ballot box.
