Trump’s first day in court has come and gone, and it didn’t disappoint. It went about how we expected. But, from the looks of it, the day didn’t go as Donnie expected. Trump has repeatedly described this court case as an “assault on America.” Sounds a bit dramatic, right?
The closest thing to an assault on America we’ve seen is the insurrection Trump incited back in 2021, and for some reason, we’re having trouble comparing yesterday to January 6th. Unlike the 6th, there was just something about that courtroom that seemed peaceful. Maybe even peaceful enough to take a nap.
But who would nap in a courtroom while on trial for cheating on your pregnant wife with a pornstar and then paying $200,000 to keep her quiet? If you guessed the 45th President of the United States, you’d be correct.
So just to keep the record straight, Trump is now the first former president to go through a criminal trial AND the first former president to fall asleep during said trial. Our message to Trump? Keep going. Try to break more of these records. Be the first former president to eat 10 Big Macs in a courtroom. That would be a helluva food coma nap.
Are we surprised The Donald fell asleep? No. And we know he would’ve passed out at Barron’s graduation too, despite his complaining. The fact of the matter is that he’s slow, he’s old, and he’s lethargic. Sleepy Donald, much? He’s been getting weaker by the day for months and people are finally starting to notice. 91 felony charges in four states will do that to a human being. Especially an orange, overweight, 77-year-old human being.
So, if yesterday taught us anything, it’s what we already knew. Donald Trump is not fit for office. He would be a disaster. One that America may not be able to come back from. So instead of waiting to impeach him, just help us put this whole Trump thing to rest (pun intended) >> <[link removed]>
