I wanted to make sure you saw this email I sent you because we're up against a critical mid-month deadline tonight – and I'm counting on your help.

If you didn't have time to read my original message, here's the long and short of it: Experts agree that our Democratic Senate majority is seriously under threat this fall. We can't afford to lose a single seat – which means we need to win in Michigan AND Montana AND Ohio AND Nevada AND another 18 states if we want any chance of stopping the GOP from taking power.

There's only one way to win in a year like this one: strong, early grassroots support.

We were only able to beat the odds in 2020 and 2022 because folks like you stepped up in the moments when it mattered most – moments like this one. The most important thing you need to know is that November's elections will be critical to the future of our democracy. Right now, experts are saying multiple Democratic senators are at risk of losing their seats. We have literally zero room for error – and the GOP is ALREADY targeting our most vulnerable senators.

As DSCC chair it's my responsibility to make sure that our candidates come out on top. I work night and day to do just that. But make no mistake: We aren't the heroes of that story – you are. 

We're only going to be able to stop the GOP from retaking the Senate because of an unprecedented grassroots movement, powered by folks like you. With early grassroots support from top Democrats like you, I know we can defend our Senate majority in November.

There are a massive 23 Democratic seats on the ballot. Again, we have zero room for error. We'll only be able to hang on to our majority if we win in some of the toughest states in the country: Michigan, Nevada, Montana, Ohio, the list goes on and on.

The GOP knows exactly how tough our odds are. And there's no way they're going to waste this opportunity. Last year alone they raised a record-breaking $95 MILLION to retake the majority. That makes our odds even stiffer.

I know a $5 grassroots donation might not seem like much in comparison to the millions of dollars the GOP raised last year – but if you join the hundreds of grassroots folks who've already given $5 this week, we'll have the resources it takes to fight back against the GOP's attacks on key Democrats and defend our Senate majority.
