We understand the uncertainty of this time, and are asking you to donate only if you can afford to. Just opening this email is a show of support for our campaign. Alex and our campaign are here for you and will continue fighting for our district.
Friend,
The federal government passed a stimulus package last week that would finally give millions of working families across the nation some economic assistance.
But... not so fast. It was just announced that the promised stimulus checks could take up to five months to reach families. When we translate those checks to food and shelter, a five month waiting period is devastating to working families.
This is unacceptable.
Alex has always been a people's champion. He's spent his whole life fighting hard for the people of Holyoke and he's ready to bring that fight to our entire district as our Congressman. But we need your help to get him there. Can you make a contribution today to elect a people's champion from MA-01 to Congress?
Almost 10 million people have filed for unemployment since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. 6.6 million people filed for unemployment in the last week alone. This is a historic low for job security in this country, and a catastrophic blow to our economy.
Alex is ready to be a part of a new generation of leadership who understand that we need to propose solutions that match the scale of these unprecedented problems.
During this ferocious scourge on COVID-19, we've moved our entire team to a remote campaign. That means we are raising funds that help us arrive at doors in different ways.
We'd be grateful to have your support for any of these truly critical tools:
We're stronger when we stand united,
Team Morse
