John, Melynda Vincent is a licensed clinical social worker. A business owner. A mother. And a public health activist.
But her life wasn’t always like that.
In 2008, Ms. Vincent was a homeless drug addict struggling to survive. She wrote a bad check at a grocery store and was ultimately convicted of a felony for the incident.
Since then, she graduated from college with multiple degrees, started a counseling center, and works to help those suffering from substance abuse.
Now, Ms. Vincent wants to protect herself and her loved ones and even take up hunting with her kids, but the mistake she made during a trying time in her life is penalizing her and revoking a God-given right protected in the Constitution still to this very day.
John, writing a bad check once in life shouldn’t prevent someone from utilizing their Second Amendment rights.
