Jason helped pass a historic $2 trillion COVID-19 relief package. Here's what's in the bill:

Direct relief for families: Families will get relief with a one-time check. It added $600 a week to unemployment insurance for four months, and made this relief available to contractors, freelancers and those employed in the gig economy.

Taking care of health care workers: It provides billions for hospitals to purchase critical supplies like ventilators, hospital beds, personal protective equipment, and more.

Relief for small businesses: This bill provides hundreds of billions in interest-free loans, grants and other immediate assistance so they can open their doors again after this crisis. See below on what else Jason is doing for local businesses.

Assistance to states: This bill provides federal relief to states to both manage the virus' current impact to their health systems, and prepare for the future of the pandemic.
