Folks,

As many of you may know, before I was elected to the New Jersey General Assembly, I was a physician. In the hospital, I saw countless women come in with complicated pregnancies, ones that threatened the lives of themselves or their unborn children. I saw firsthand the anguish and difficulty of those moments when women were faced with impossible decisions.

Those experiences formed a fundamental stance for me – the choices made in the doctor's office should never be influenced by far-away legislators. Those decisions are the business of the patient and the doctor, that’s it.

So, when I say that as a member of Congress, I will be a fierce advocate for reproductive healthcare, know that I mean it. I fought against cuts to Planned Parenthood in the NJ Assembly and expanded Reproductive healthcare. I have real scientific knowledge about reproductive healthcare and will bring that knowledge to Congress with me.

That’s why I hope you'll consider supporting our campaign today. Our race is sure to be a tough one, as Republicans desperately fight to keep their majority, they are looking for every opportunity to flip a seat, and with reproductive rights on the line, we can’t back down.
