John,

Earlier this year, at the start of the legislative session, Governor Wes Moore and Lieutenant Governor Aruna Miller outlined four priorities for the session to make Maryland safer, more affordable, more competitive, and the state that serves.

We’re proud to share that through a partnership with our state legislators and other critical stakeholders, we’ve made significant progress on all four of the Governor’s priorities. We’ve shown just how much we can accomplish together. Putting the political games aside, we've shown how a state government is supposed to work.

The Governor’s agenda makes record investments in education and public safety, child care, and housing – all without raising personal income tax, corporate income tax, or sales tax.

Moving in partnership, Governor Moore passed legislation that created Maryland’s first-ever gun violence prevention center, legislation to put more sworn officers on the streets to make our communities safer, and he put forward the most comprehensive housing package the state has ever seen.

And, as tragedy struck with the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge, he didn’t miss a beat and stepped into action immediately by putting forward Executive Orders, supporting the PORT Act with the state legislature, and continuing to work with our federal partners to secure much-needed funding for the recovery.

The Moore-Miller administration is making the investments we need to protect our future and the working families of Maryland.

Thank you for riding along this journey with us — we cannot do this work without you.

Team Moore
