John, I'm not kidding when I say this – standing up for our working families has always been my top priority.

But anyone can say that, right? So, before I ask you to support my reelection campaign with a donation today, I wanted to show you this clip from 6 years ago, when I was running for office for the very first time:

"We need to put Springfield on the side of our working families."

John, this clip is from before I was elected to the State House, from before I fought for elected school boards, expanded Medicare coverage for seniors regardless of immigration status, and secured millions of dollars for affordable housing in our community.

But the work didn't just stop once I left the Illinois House. Since I stepped foot in DC, issues affecting our working families have been at the front of my mind. In just my first year in Congress, I'm proud to have taken steps to deliver on their concerns by:

1️⃣ Co-leading the reintroduction of the American Dream and Promise Act, a bill carving out a clear pathway to US citizenship

2️⃣ Introducing the Student Veteran Restoration Act, so that defrauded veterans could still get the education they deserve

3️⃣ Introducing the Tenants' Right to Organize Act, a bill that empowers tenants to fight back against discrimination and unfair housing practices

John, a lot has changed since that clip you saw, but the one thing that will never change is my commitment to acting in the best interest of our community.

Although, I'll be honest: my ability to continue being a champion for IL-03 is being threatened by the GOP candidate I'm facing this fall. To help me beat him, will you chip in any amount toward my reelection campaign today?
SUPPORT OUR TEAM

Thank you,
Congresswoman Delia Ramirez
