New campgrounds ready for reservations at Sherman, Box Butte
If you're looking for a great new place to camp, you can find it at Sherman Reservoir and Box Butte Reservoir state recreation areas. These parks are taking reservations for newly developed campgrounds. See details about these new sites at the link below.
Reservations for May 1 and after can be made online, through the Reserve America Reservation App or by calling the Nebraska Game and Parks Call Center at 402-471-1414.

Have fun birding at a Nebraska state park
Nebraska's state parks are a great place to watch birds ? and special birding opportunities are headed your way soon.
In May, participate in the Nebraska Birding Bowl, a free, month-long, statewide birding competition perfect for beginners to experienced birders. A virtual event is planned for April 23 to teach you how to use eBird, an integral part of the Birding Bowl.
Also, plenty of fun birding events are planned in May for Nebraska Bird Month, and you're invited!
