John,
The country faces an acute housing crisis.
Did you see our co-leader Carla Denyer spell out Green Party housing policy on BBC’s Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg programme?
“We are aiming to create 150,000 new council homes a year and would do that through a mixture of new builds, bringing empty homes back into use, conversions, and making it easier for councils to buy some of the supply off the market. These measures together are the best way to tackle the housing crisis which so many are at the sharp end of.”
Getting Greens elected on 2 May will mean we can build thousands more affordable homes to high environmental standards up and down the country.
