LAPPL MetLife Long Term Disability Benefit and Rate Changes   Dear Members, Effective July 1st, 2024, please be advised that the LAPPL MetLife Long Term Disability (LTD) benefits and monthly rates will be changing. Additional information and materials regarding these important LTD changes will be provided over the next month. Please carefully review these materials and use Open Enrollment as your opportunity to ask questions and make any necessary changes. As a reminder, Open Enrollment will be held from May 1st to May 31st with changes effective July 1st, 2024. During Open Enrollment, please visit www.lapplbenefits.com to review and update your personal and dependent information, review your current benefit elections, make benefit changes for the 2024 - 2025 plan year, add/remove your dependents, update your beneficiary information, and access benefit plan information. Additionally, the Trust will be hosting both in-person and virtual informational sessions during Open Enrollment to discuss the LTD benefit and monthly rate changes. Be sure to keep an eye out for details on these informational sessions separately as well. The Trustees encourage you to attend these informational sessions and ask questions per the LTD changes.
