The National Human Trafficking Hotline is critical infrastructure for the country’s anti-trafficking response. It’s also a beacon of hope for people looking for help.
Every day, we answer hundreds of calls, texts, chats, emails, and forms. The numbers add up: Since 2007, we’ve handled 400,000+ contacts, identified 82,000+ trafficking situations, and assisted 75,800+ victims and survivors.
But our work isn’t done. Over the last four years, total contacts have surged by 40% compared to the first 12 years. We’ve also seen more victims and survivors reach out to us directly, trusting us with their stories, their needs, and their dreams.
