There has possibly never been a more important time to discover or rediscover our nation's early leaders. As we are entering a crucial election season, where Americans will choose our leaders, it is beneficial to review the lives of America's Presidents and ask, what makes a good leader?
Most Americans recognize the names George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, and James Madison, but few can tell you their stories—much less that of James Monroe, John Quincy Adams, or Andrew Jackson.

The stories of each of these presidents are fascinating, instructive, and compelling. After all, these are the men who built the republic. |
