Dear Mr. xxxxxx,
I wanted to pass along my latest update on what I have been doing to fight for you, Texas’ 21st Congressional District, and our country as a whole:
Get a warrant.
As a former federal prosecutor, I am all for getting bad guys. However, violating Americans rights in the process is not an option.
We’ve seen the rampant abuses that the FBI has committed against the former president, Catholics, pro-lifers, and others – we can’t let them spy on Americans without a warrant in the name of national security.
That’s why I fought to defend civil liberty this week as Congress debated reauthorizing FISA. I promise to continue to push for warrant requirements to protect Americans’ rights.
Only Americans should vote in U.S. elections
Radical progressive democrats are using open borders to remake America and to encourage illegals to vote in federal elections.
By allowing illegal aliens to vote in our elections, it dilutes the power that American citizens have and harms making their voices heard.
That is why I am introducing the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act to require proof of citizenship to register to vote. I am pleased to work with Speaker Johnson and my colleagues to move forward this effort.
Here are some other news stories about what I’ve been up to lately:
•Rep. Chip Roy fights to protect Americans from warrantless searches
•Rep. Chip Roy: “Our constitutional guarantee of free press is under attack."
•Rep. Chip Roy: the United States must stand with Israel
•Rep. Chip Roy: “How much power are you going to give government in the name of security?"
