* *Summary:* This announcement provides a summary of updates DHS made to the CBSM in March 2024.





AASD messages

AASD discontinued forms DHS-2988 and DHS-2497 [ [link removed] ]

* *Audience:* Lead agency case managers, assessors, supervisors, long-term services and supports providers and other interested parties
* *Effective date:* Immediately
* *Summary:* AASD discontinued two forms because they contained outdated information. Effective immediately, lead agencies can no longer use forms DHS-2988 and DHS-2497.

* *Audience:* Lead agency staff, case managers, residential supports and services providers, day service providers, basic, intensive, in-home and employment support service providers and all interested parties
* *Event dates:* April 24, Aug. 21 and Dec. 11, 2024
* *Summary:* The DHS Licensing and Disability Services divisions will host a virtual roundtable series about issues providers face when implementing specific 245D requirements.

* *Summary:* The Odyssey conference committee is pleased to announce the rescheduled date for the first session in the 2024 Odyssey webinar series. ?From Either/Or to Both/And: When Disability and Aging Intersect? will be on Thursday, May 30, 2024.

Training announcement: EW Foundations 1: Administration and Eligibility [ [link removed] ]

* *Audience:* People who work with home and community-based services for older adults, care coordinators, case managers, assessors and other interested parties
* *Summary:* This 45-minute, self-paced online course introduces EW administration and program and financial eligibility. It includes an optional financial eligibility section with additional details and examples.
