Friend, yesterday, a bunch of anti-Semitic, pro-Hamas, pro-Iran nut jobs shut down roads and bridges in cities across America.
It was revolting. I joined Fox News to talk about it, and I told a few simple truths.
First, this mob is wasting police resources in cities filled with violent crime.
Second, if these lunatics tried a stunt like this on a bridge in Arkansas, there’d be a lot of wet criminals tossed overboard — before the police even arrived.
Third, this is Joe Biden’s political base. The mob is the reason Biden is tougher on Israel than Hamas, and they’re the reason he’s still coddling the thugs who run Iran.
In that interview, I also said that I felt for all of the people trying to get to work, pick up a kid, or make a doctor’s appointment. And I said that fed up, law-abiding citizens should solve the situation before police even have to show up.
Tom Cotton was born and raised on his family’s cattle farm in Arkansas, served as an Army infantry officer in Iraq and Afghanistan, and is fighting for working Americans in the U.S. Senate.
The tragic attacks of September 11, 2001 occurred during Tom’s final year of law school and changed his life’s trajectory.
After clerking on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and spending a short time in private law practice, he joined the United States Army as an Infantry Officer, spending nearly five years on active duty.
Between his two combat tours he served as a platoon leader with the Old Guard at Arlington National Cemetery, the unit responsible for military honors funerals.
Tom’s military decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, Combat Infantry Badge, and Ranger Tab.
In the U.S. Senate, he’s fighting the tough battles for Arkansans and Americans, and delivering real results. He knows that only the strong can survive in a dangerous world, and he’s building a movement to make America strong again.
Senator Cotton was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army.
