Friend of Trust for Public Land,
Tomorrow is Trust for Public Land's annual Day on the Hill,
where I'll be joining advocates from around the country in
meetings with elected officials in Washington, DC, to champion the
Outdoors for All Act.
One-third of Americans-including 28 million children-lack
safe and easy access to a park within a 10-minute walk of home. This
legislation will help change that by allocating funding to enhance
outdoor recreational opportunities, especially in economically
disadvantaged areas and communities with limited park access.
Your senators need to know where you stand. Will you send a message
today to help increase access to the outdoors?

I've seen firsthand the transformative power of parks and green spaces
in communities. They serve as vital hubs for health, connection, and
resilience. And now, for the first time, the Outdoors for All Act will
extend funding to tribal nations, Indigenous communities, and smaller
towns, aiming to make hundreds more communities, cities, and towns
eligible.
Kids and communities need access to nature. With your help today, we
can ensure that our message to elected officials tomorrow is
impossible to ignore.

Thank you for advocating for the well-being of kids and communities
across the country.
With gratitude,
Myke Bybee
