John,
As the coronavirus crisis began to unfold here in America, how did Georgia Senators Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue respond? By allegedly working to profit off the crisis.
That’s right, evidence suggests that our two senators engaged in insider trading by selling stocks as soon as they were informed of the crisis and before Americans knew.
Sen. Loeffler in particular made millions of dollars in exchanges on the stock market starting on January 24th (the very day the Senate was briefed on coronavirus) and continuing into February and March. We shared before that she had invested in a firm that develops telecommuting software for working at home, but now we just learned she also invested in a company that makes COVID-19 protective garments.
This strongly appears to be insider trading - a practice that is illegal for Members of Congress. That’s why we’re demanding an immediate and thorough investigation into Senators Loeffler and Perdue’s shady financial transactions. Join us in calling for an investigation by signing on NOW!
In times of crisis, we need our leaders to bring us together and help the least fortunate among us weather the storm. We don’t need them exploiting confidential information for their own financial gain.
Our country will have a hard time getting out of this crisis if our elected leaders are participating in such selfish actions.
We demand and deserve better leadership from our elected officials. So, will you join us in holding them accountable and calling for an immediate investigation into Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue?
Thanks,
-- Team Hank
