Cass is a candidate who gets it.
She’s an educator, community organizer, mentor and single mom who has walked the walk. She co-founded Mill Creek Community Partnership, founded Fine Art Through Our Eyes Community Arts Initiative, led community engagement at People’s Emergency Center, and spearheaded innovation and safety initiatives in Kensington at NKCDC.
And now, she’s running for State Representative on a platform that sounds a lot like mine from last year: neighborhood investments to help tackle crime, access to more quality affordable housing, quality education, and boosting good jobs with family-sustaining wages.
If we can elect Cass, I’ll have another strong ally in Harrisburg who will help bring resources back to Philadelphia – especially more funding for Philadelphia’s public schools. I know Cass Green will be a champion for public education which is why she has been endorsed by the Philadelphia Federation of Teachers as well as their national counterpart.
Will you help get Cass over the finish line in this final week by donating to her campaign?
In this last week, every dollar helps and will go toward crucial Get-Out-The-Vote efforts across the 10th District.
Cass, like me, isn’t a career politician – she is running to fight for policies that will help everyone in her district, and I know that she’ll be a fierce advocate for the voices in her community if we send her to Harrisburg.
I hope you’ll pitch in!
Thank you,
Councilmember Rue Landau
