My whole team and I want to thank everyone who has helped support our communities in this difficult time. I hope you're staying safe as we work to keep all Americans protected and informed.

We especially want to thank everyone who is fighting on the frontlines against the spread of COVID-19—from doctors, nurses, first responders, pharmacists, workers in grocery stores, delivery workers, all those who are working to continue our food supply chain, and countless others. It is because of your essential work that we are able to continue to flatten the curve and stay safe.

Over the past few weeks, my colleagues and I have spent most of our time working on addressing the COVID-19 outbreak—including passing the $2 trillion relief bill to bring in more medical equipment, send direct payments to the people that need help, expand unemployment coverage, and work to protect small businesses. There are so many facets and concerns that we're facing as a result of COVID-19, and I want to assure you that in Congress we are working together for the good of the country and to keep everyone safe.
