On Tax Day, we highlight the vital role immigrants play in the U.S. economy.
Representing 14% of the population, immigrants' contributions far exceed their
numbers.

With $1.4 trillion in spending power, immigrants nationwide significantly fuel
economic growth. They contribute a remarkable 17% to the GDP and pay a
staggering $524 billion in taxes annually.

The impact isn't just financial. Immigrants drive the future of this country,
with the growth of the immigrant labor force projected to add $7 trillion to the
GDP over the next decade. Refugees and asylum seekers alone have a positive
fiscal impact of nearly $124 billion on the American economy over 15 years.

However, the benefits immigrants bring are often overshadowed by the challenges
they face. We are confronted with issues affecting reproductive care, workers'
rights, and the right to asylum — which disproportionately impact immigrant
communities.

That’s why it's crucial that we push hard for policies that recognize
immigrants' humanity and essential role and ensure they are protected. But we
can’t do it alone.

We need your support to continue this work. Your donation will help us work with
immigrant communities to advocate for fair policies. Please consider
contributing today to help us build a just and prosperous future for us all.
