Dear Friends,

I'm thrilled to announce that I secured $11.8 MILLION for small community projects that I championed across every corner of my district. These 15 projects will repair roads in Portales, help build a convention center in Questa, improve affordable housing in Santa Fe, and much more!

To fund a Trauma Intervention Project through Chavez County CASA to serve both the child victims of crime and the dedicated team that serves them. 

To revamp Lovington's wastewater treatment plant and upgrade the city’s water infrastructure and equipment.

To revamp several streets near Eastern New Mexico University (ENMU), enhancing safety for students, pedestrians, and drivers.

To construct a convention facility, enhance economic development for the community, and support surrounding rural communities.

To overhaul the El Valle Community Center in Villanueva and pay for critical repairs and enhancements.

To tackle food insecurity in Española by improving the Casita de Comida food bank with essential building improvements, equipment, warehousing, and transportation.

To revamp the YMCA facility in Los Alamos by replacing the aging roof and gym floor.

To enhance Red Rock Park with critical building and facility improvements, vital for the economic and community growth of the region.

To acquire a cutting-edge Mobile Command Center, elevating the Sheriff's Office 'on scene' capabilities and enhancing public safety for the entire community.

To build a brand-new animal shelter in Crownpoint, fulfilling critical needs for impounded or quarantined animals.

To implement a cutting-edge wastewater treatment system, bolstering the Tribe's ability to safeguard public health.

To purchase police units, transport vehicles, and license plate recognition systems.

To repair parts of Navajo Road 474, an essential road plagued by potholes and heavy traffic.

To bolster affordable housing by overhauling electrical systems for 183 low-income rental units and three Boys and Girls Clubs facilities owned by the Santa Fe County Housing Authority.

To breathe new life into a long-neglected park, Filemon Sanchez Park, unlocking its potential for community recreation.
