Eugene here. I wanted to send you a quick note if you have a minute to read it.

Today marks the halfway point towards our April fundraising deadline, and truthfully, we’re behind where we need to be to stay on track. That’s okay. I trust this grassroots team to step up and help us hit our goals before the end of the month.

But I also know that we don’t have time to fall behind, even for a day.

Listen, this race is about to get intense. Republicans have already been attacking me and my character. First quarter fundraising totals for every campaign in this race are being publicly released today. And we’re just weeks away from the start of early primary voting here in Virginia.

If we don’t use the time we have now to build up our resources and prepare to take on the MAGA candidates who want to flip this seat for the GOP, we’ll be falling behind before we know it.

If we can’t win this seat, Democrats will have an even harder time taking back the House.

And if we don’t take back the House, we are stuck with another two years of dysfunctional, anti-democracy Republicans in charge — the same Republicans who refused to certify Joe Biden’s victory in 2020.

We can’t let that happen. We don’t want to wake up on the day after the election and think “I should have done more to help when it mattered most.” The time to help is now.
