Join us on Zoom next Tuesday for the first of our #CoronaConversations online event series - 'Why we need to make women visible'.
Hi Friend,
We hope you and your families are doing well and finding moments of joy and calm amid all the fear and uncertainty.
As part of our work to highlight the impact of Coronavirus on women, we are launching an online event series — Corona Conversations.
Our first one - ‘Coronavirus crisis: why we need to make women visible ([link removed][UNIQID]) ’ - is next Tuesday and we’d love you to join us.
Tune in via online video platform, Zoom, to watch our CEO, Sam Smethers, in conversation with prominent leaders in the women's sector about why we urgently need to make women’s and girls’ experiences visible during the crisis.

We'll be hearing from award-winning writer and campaigner, Caroline Criado Perez, about women's lack of visibility during the UK's crisis response.
And we’ll also be joined by Pragna Patel, Director of Southall Black Sisters, and Dr Mary-Ann Stephenson, Director of UK Women’s Budget Group, who will share vital insight into the impacts on black and minority women experiencing gender-based violence and women on low-incomes.
We are looking forward to a really interesting discussion so we do hope you can join us on the night. We recommend booking soon as there are a limited number of places.

If you can't make it, don't worry though — we will be recording the session and sharing it online too, so you can catch up afterwards.
Thank you for your ongoing commitment to gender equality during this challenging time.
In solidarity and determination,
Natalia Fricker, Communications Manager, The Fawcett Society
and the rest of our wonderful Fawcett team...
