Team — In 2022, Michelle ran for Congress to be a representative for the working-class families of South Texas. After her community asked her to run again in 2024, without hesitation, she was ready to continue her fight for affordable healthcare, reproductive rights, and good-paying jobs for the community she grew up in.
We’re running a grassroots campaign and reaching out to voters across our district in South Texas to flip this seat blue. We refuse to have the families of TX-15 continue to be ignored and counted out yet another term in Congress. South Texas has a voice, and we need it to be heard. Our MAGA extremist opponent Monica De La Cruz is more interested in taking orders from outside interests rather than from the hard-working families of TX-15 she's meant to represent.
But we need help from our community — that's you! We want to hear from you about what matters to you and your loved ones. Can you take just 30 seconds (we promise!) to fill out a short survey to help us understand your priorities for 2024?

As the daughter of Mexican immigrants, Michelle watched her parents work multiple jobs, live paycheck to paycheck, and open Pulga Los Portales (a flea market) that helped her family connect with small business owners and local working families in South Texas — all on their own during Michelle’s childhood years.
Her mother, Maribel, passed away in 2010 after dealing with health issues ever since Michelle was a child. Michelle would often travel with her mother to Mexico to receive health care — a reality that many families in South Texas face due to the lack of affordable healthcare available here in South Texas. Michelle is ready to honor her mother’s legacy by fighting for affordable healthcare and for working families like her own in South Texas.
In 2024, too much is at stake for the families of TX-15 to continue to get left behind. South Texans travel out of state to receive reproductive health care, because our reproductive rights are banned by MAGA extremists like our opponent. Our current leadership does absolutely nothing about it.
Michelle is ready to serve only the families of South Texas and fight for affordable healthcare, reproductive rights, and good paying jobs because these are the issues that matter most to our community. But we want to make sure we’re fighting for the interests of our whole community — Can you take just 30 seconds to fill out this survey so we can make sure we’re fighting for your priorities in 2024?
